“I had limited expectations for this excursion. We arrived at the bamboo rafting area and it was all very rushed. I was hoping that the guides would be pointing out wildlife or give us some information about anything, but it felt like our guide in particular was either a bit hungover or just didn't want to be there. Stopped the raft to take phone calls etc it was bizarre. The turtle sanctuary was decent. Learned some things on the tour from the guide. Waterfall was a bit of a waste of time to be honest. In summer when water levels are low. It seems pointless to take people there.”

“What an amazing experience! GG our tour guide was absolutely amazing. We truly didn’t know what to expect but wow it was a great personal touring experience. We stopped at the morning market, bathe with elephants, had tea and tasty treats, visited the viewpoint that was featured in the movie Gold and went bamboo rafting with coffee in the jungle. We had a great lunch to top it off and on the journey back out tour guide allowed us to stop at a natural spring for a quick dip. She did an amazing job and happy we had her as our personal guide for the day”

We were lucky and there were only two of us, and thanks to the low season, guide Tony had plenty of time to explain everything to us. Make sure you take mosquito repellent with you! The trip to the bamboo rafting was too long for us, and communication with the driver and the rafting guys was a bit bumpy and unclear. Rafting itself was relaxing. However, it should be made clear that you will definitely get wet up…”
